Each Fall the rotary club hosts a Thanksgiving style dinner for the foreign students attending the University of North Dakota. Attended by 50 to 75 students from the UND International Student Center, it is a chance for Americans and students from many other cultures to get to know each other better. The students make presentations of music, dancing, and other talents from their native countries. The students get to experience a true American Thanksgiving. Rotarians are encouraged to invite students to their own Thanksgiving dinner, as many foreign students remain on campus during that uniquely American holiday. |
